The Sepulveda Center project converts a 1980’s high rise courtyard and lobby into an inviting, vibrant and connected area through fluid lines. The design promotes continuity while creating multiple individual spaces for diverse types of activities allowing the user freedom of choice on how to occupy it. In addition, the project attempts to resolve certain site-specific challenges, such as strong west winds and its proximity to the San Diego Freeway by means of visually intriguing barriers that provide both protection and aesthetic interest.
