Purpose of Position: The Design Intern in the Architecture or Interiors studio will experience how a mid-size design firm functions and the workflow of a studio within the firm. The intern will observe the phases of design projects and work within projects in any phase from Concept to Construction Administration. S/he will work with a Project Manager or Design Lead in a support position and be assigned to tasks in support of projects or individuals. S/he will integrate in to the firm and attend lunch and learns, design lunches and in-house seminars and meetings to gain exposure and knowledge.

Typical Duties Including But Not Limited to:‍

• Create 3-D renderings of models.
• Construct physical models.
• Prepare architectural drawings with supervision or oversight.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials.
• Assist in pulling palettes or materials.
• Assist in any/all phases of the projects including Construction Administration.
• Assist in the administrative support duties of project management including contract administration, project schedules, staffing, etc.
• Helping with various tasks in the Field or in the Office.

Experience Required:

‍A positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must.
