John Wolcott

President

Having founded Wolcott Architecture Interiors (WAI) in 1975, John divides his professional time between overall management of the firm, client development and design direction. John
acts as principal-in-charge for most of the firm's major design projects totaling over 25 million square feet. WAI has been consistently ranked among the "Top 200 Design Giants" by Interior Design Magazine and was ranked #66 in 1981 by Inc. Magazine on its "Top 100 Fastest Growing Private companies in the United States" list. WAI won the B.O.M.A. TOBY Award for Watt Plaza – Renovated Building of the Year, 2004. John is
a founding member of the Santa Monica chapter of Young Presidents Organization. John is a California Certified Interior Designer.

Prior to forming WAI, John was Director of Design and member of the Board of Directors of Carol Sagar Office Interiors, a Los Angeles based interior design and office furniture company.
He had previously been Project Designer with both Charles Luckman Associates and Albert C. Martin & Associates.

John majored in Industrial Design at California State University Long Beach and attended Harvard University Graduate School of Design. His philanthropic services include membership on the Board of Directors of Catholic Big Brothers and Chairman of the Annual Golf Tournament (as Chairman he helped raise over one million dollars) and donation of the firm's services for interior development for Junior Achievement's regional headquarters building, Elton John Foundation and Exceptional Children's Foundation.
